Interfaith Habitat for Humanity Build

September 5 – December 1, 2016 This fall, Beth-El Zedeck will join together with other members of the local faith community to help build two houses with Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity. The houses will be for two families in the Haughville neighborhood on Indy’s west side. The project is entitled “Build on Faith,” and will take place September 5 to December 1. JFGI’s 2016 Tikkun Olam Award to Beth-El Zedeck Program

Congregation Beth-El Zedeck’s Cathedral Soup Kitchen Program was this year’s winner of the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis (JFGI) Melvin Simon Tikkun Olam Award. This award was established in 2002 to recognize unique, special projects that enhance our community.
