Erev Yom HaShoah Ceremony at the Memorial
Wednesday, April 11 at 6:00 p.m. at the Albert & Sara Reuben Holocaust Memorial (6701 Hoover Rd.)
Our community’s Jewish clergy will collectively lead a ceremony at the Albert & Sara Reuben Holocaust Memorial on the Max & Mae Simon Jewish Community Campus.

Erev Yom HaShoah Community-Wide Observance
Wednesday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Etz Chaim Sephardic Congregation (6939 Hoover Rd.)
“Shedding Light on the Sephardic Holocaust”
Our community’s Jewish clergy are invited to participate in our community-wide Holocaust observance program. Following the presentation, there will be a candle lighting by survivors and their families, and closing prayers.

State of Indiana Holocaust Observance and Reading of Names Ceremony
Thursday, April 12 at 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Indiana State House Rotunda (200 W. Washington St.)
Lecture by Professor Edward Linenthal, Professor of History at Indiana University. Organized by the IUPUI Religious Studies Department.

City of Carmel Holocaust Remembrance Program
Friday, April 13 at noon at the Studio Theater at the Center for the Performing Arts (4 Center Green)
Dignitaries Speak, Bell Choir Performance, Candle Lighting, Keynote by survivor Frank Grunwald.

All programs are free and open to the public


Saturday, May 19 @ 6:00 p.m.
Celebrate with our 10th graders and their families as they confirm their commitment to Judaism in a beautiful service that includes an original Cantata.

Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Sunday, May 20 @ 10:00 a.m.
Our current adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah class will be called to the Torah as we celebrate the giving of the Torah on Mt. Sinai.
