Tracy Mishkin

Tracy Mishkin works in the appeals department at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. She is a former English professor and former Program Director at the Bureau of Jewish Education. An Indianapolis native, she studied for 10 years at the BJE and is a graduate of the Prozdor high school program.

She has taught adult education classes at Beth-El Zedeck and Religious Education at Beth-El Zedeck & Sha'arey Tefillah, and she has tutored several children for B'nei Mitzvah. She enjoys reading Torah and chanting Haftarah. Dr. Mishkin has a BA from Cornell University and a PhD from the University of Michigan, and she recently completed a MFA in Poetry at Butler University.

This year, Tracy will serve as our Hebrew specialist, teaching in classes and also working with students individually on their Hebrew skills.
